Day 1 Victoria Falls
Welcome to the legendary town of Victoria Falls, home of “The Smoke That Thunders”. Twice as wide and twice as deep as the Niagara Falls.
Meet your fellow travellers for a welcome meeting in the evening.

Day 2 Victoria Falls
Use this free day to either board the unforgettable ‘Flight of the Angels’ helicopter tour this morning and marvel at the majestic views of the falls and the Zambezi River from the air or for the more adventurous we recommend going white water rafting or bungy jumping before losing yourself in one of the many market places to buy gifts for your family back home.
In the evening you could take to the upper Zambezi on a sunset cruise and spot the hippos while sipping on a glass of Chardonnay.

Day 3 Chobe National Park
We cross borders to Kasane, Botswana – the gateway to Chobe National Park – “Land of the Giants”, home to the largest elephant population in Africa. Here, in the heart of the African Bush, we will be treated to an abundance of African wildlife and a great variety of birds. We board a pleasant game cruise, on the Chobe River, before returning to the lodge for a relaxed dinner.

Day 4 Nata
This morning we experience the wild grandeur of the Chobe National Park on an open-vehicle game drive.
Chobe is home to the largest elephant population in the world as well as many other fascinating species of animals, making it a favourite of wildlife photographers from all over the world.
Late morning we depart to Nata, in time for an optional excursion into the Makgadikgadi pans. The vast salt pans in the middle of Botswana is one of the largest salt flats in the world with an area of 3900sqm.

Day 5 Okavango Delta
Farewell the elephants this morning and head to Maun, the gateway to the World Heritage listed Okavango Delta. You may wish to take an optional flight over the Delta to gain a unique perspective of the vast landscape this afternoon.

Day 6 Okavango Delta
After breakfast we embark on a day excursion into the famous Okavango Delta. Sit back and relax in your mokoro (traditional style canoe) as local guides paddle us through the narrow waterways of the Delta. Expect to see hippos and abundant birdlife from the water, and other game at a lunch stop at a local island.

Day 7 Kalahari Area
En route to Kalahari Arms Hotel we will meet the local San Bushmen and accompany them on a walk to learn their desert survival skills.
Spend the rest of the afternoon at our oasis of accommodation which is well-equipped to refresh a weary traveller. Soak up the Botswana sunshine or relax in the lapa with a refreshing drink or take a few laps in their Olympic sized pool.

Day 8 Windhoek
Today is just a transfer day to bring us over the border to Namibia.
Arrive the capital of Namibia in the late afternoon and enjoy a quick drive-by orientation tour with your guide.

Day 9 Etosha National Park
Today is a long travel day but our destination, Etosha National Park, makes it worthwhile. The name Etosha is derived from the Oshiwambo and means “big, white place”, owing to its major feature – a salt pan so large it can be seen from space!

Day 10 Etosha National Park
Discover the Etosha National Park with morning and afternoon open-vehicle game drives. Despite the vast salt pan, there are numerous permanent waterholes which attract an abundance of wildlife, providing excellent game viewing opportunities.

Day 11 Swakopmund
Farewell Etosha today and head south to the Skeleton Coast and Swakopmund. One of Namibia’s jewels with German origins are quite pronounced in the beautiful old German colonial buildings throughout the city, a stark contrast for this town sitting at the edge of the Namib desert.

Day 12 Swakopmund
Today is a free day to choose from a range of optional activities and to further explore this quaint little town. You might like to explore the open-air markets, head to the National Marine Aquarium, visit the local museum or go on one of their adrenaline filled activities such as sand boarding, skydiving or quad biking. You can also immerse yourself in the local culture by going on a township tour.

Day 13 Sossusvlei Area
We head south today through the spectacular scenery of the Namib Naukluft National park en-route to Sossusvlei. On the way, keep your eyes open for oryx, springbok, and Hartmann’s mountain zebra. Enjoy dinner at the lodge on arrival.

Day 14 Sossusvlei Area
Marvel at the incredible scenery today as we rise early to visit the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Start with an optional climb of Dune 45, before exploring the 300m-high sand dunes of Death Valley and the tranquil natural corridor of Sesriem Canyon.

Day 15 Fish River Canyon
Today we drive through the remote regions of Southern Namibia to our lodge close to Fish River Canyon. Enjoy dinner on arrival while you take in the unique landscape.

Day 16 Orange River
Join a morning walk along the canyon trail for spectacular views across and into Fish River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world. We will then continue south to our lodge on the banks of the Orange River. Today we explore the region from the river on a canoeing trip downstream. Take in the picturesque area which forms the border between Namibia and South Africa, before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 17 Citrusdal
Farewell Namibia as we head south along the Western Cape of South Africa. We travel today to Citrusdal, a small town at the base of the scenic Cederberg mountains. We are in the midst of the famous Rooibos tea region – try out this tasty tea on an optional tea tasting in the afternoon.

Day 18 Franschhoek
Take a short drive to reach the beautiful Western Cape wine region encompassing Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Join a cellar tour for tastings at a local winery before heading out for lunch and a second round of tastings overlooking the beautiful vineyards of the region.

Day 19 Cape Town
Sit back and enjoy the scenery on our way to Cape Town. On arrival we’ll join a city tour, take the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain and drive through the coastal suburbs of Clifton and Sea Point. The beautiful V&A waterfront is only a short walk from your hotel.

Day 20 Cape Town
Today we’ll spend a full day exploring the stunning Cape Peninsula, following the coast down to the Cape of Good Hope – the views from the lighthouse are stunning! In the afternoon we’ll visit the fairy penguins at Simonstown.

Day 21 Cape Town
Today is a free day to explore this stunning city before the group assembles for our farewell dinner. Take an optional trip out to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, stroll around the V&A waterfront or perhaps take the time to do some last minute shopping.
